FULL SYNOPSIS: TBC

DIRECTOR’S NOTES: For my first feature-length script, I decided to expand on our most popular film, “Your Heart is Homeless”, the original short script was loosely based on an event that happened to me, years ago, that I feared would turn violent. ‘Gay Panic’ is something many other gay men and I can encounter, but I feel it’s a topic we rarely discuss! In some states in the US, ‘gay panic’, is still used as a defence and has only just recently (2021) been banned in Virginia.
In the feature, I want to explore the two central characters and continue where the original short left off, Carl exploring his own internal conflict about his sexuality, and James being brutally beaten for his sexuality.
